The Fall Crop

I told you all I would keep you up to date on the trends for this Fall and what looks hot! Well this one is all about fun and can add perk to your style. I'm talking about the Pixie Cut.

There are many different styles on pixie cuts and when it comes down to it it all determines how you style it. Pixie cuts are fun like I said and a quick easy style in the mornings. The type of pixie that is hot right now is the crop cut. If you watch TV you have probably been seeing this coming out with the celebrities. One celebrity that everyone is looking at is Ginnifer Goodwin. She is one of the first actress's that really got noticed for her crop pixie. She's on the TV series Once Upon a Time with her cute look. What she does is has her hair short in the back and  up around the ears, but it has a longer layer look for her cut that is textured with shears to give it the whispy look too. She keeps her fringe with a fun texture piecey look. I believe that you are wanting to go for this look the fringe makes the style.

Anne Hathaway also now has this crop look which is similar to what Ginnifer has is just more of her own style. Like I said the fringe can really make the look. Anne has a shorter fringe than Ginnifer with shorter layers on top. With this cut you can really make it your own by your style. It won't look the same on everyone. Your head shape has a lot to do with how pixies will look on you. Especially how the back of your head is shaped;   also the texture of your hair. Do you have curly coarse hair, or fine straight hair? This will all determine how your hair will look and how it will function once short.

The style that these actresses Ginnifer and Anne are doing is playing with the texture that their own hair is on it's own and what their stylist did as well. If towel dried hair take a pomade and piece it through the top of your hair then blow dry in all directions. Then finish with a spray of hairspray and piece your fringe. For a edger look try some texure paste through your fringe and top layers to spike them up more. Add some perk to your style with one of Fall's new looks the crop pixie!
