Gratitude

Life is so great. It's been awhile since I have posted on here and I have forgot how I love to write and blog. Writing is really a stress reliever, and it helps me express myself and my feelings. So much has happened since I last posted. I am now only working at Me Salon and I have decided to focus on building my clientele. I am learning a lot about new techniques and about new products we have just gotten in. I decided that I need to grow in my salon business and it has been really great. Me only having one job has taken a lot of stress off of me and I have never been happier in life. I am and have been growing a lot spiritually and in the gospel. There has never been anything that has brought me so much joy in my life. I am so grateful for everything and one in my life. Like I have said in the past I believe that everything happens for a reason and every person in your life is brought into your life for a reason. They are there to help you, to teach you something that you couldn't have taught yourself. The fun part of life is to think of everyone in your life and to try to think of what you learned from that person being in your life. My life has changed around three sixty in the past year and it blows my mind. I have come to know my Heavenly Father and Savior and the true love that they have for me. I know that they are there for me in my life and are right beside me for everything. I have also come to love myself and who I am. This has been great for the purpose of not worrying and to really live life and love it. I believe that the people I have in my life have really impacted me and I am so grateful for all of them. Each and every person in my life has taught me something different and I love all of them individually. Everything I have been taught has it's own size. Some are simple and some have had an big impact on my life. I am just so humbled and cannot describe my gratitude for these people in my life, and I definitely cannot describe the gratitude and love I have for my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They have blessed me so much and can never repay them fully. Life is extraordinary and thank you so much everyone for the great love you have given to me. I know that I am never alone and I hope all of you know that you are not alone either.

Passion

What a busy time lately. I have been busy with Hazens and it's just going to be getting busier. I am super excited about working more with them; the reason why it's so busy now is it's the season of cheerleaders and drill teams getting their yearly photos. I really do love my job!! My salon is coming along and I feel like it is going to be picking up soon. My ad is out in the Davis County Direct Rewards with my specials for the month, and I think that's it's going to work real well. Lately I have been way excited about doing bridals and updo's. I have a bride that I will be doing her hair for her wedding next Saturday, and last Thursday I did my friends wedding hair for her wedding that day. I also did the rest of my friends hair; they were bridesmaids. I absolutely love helping them look so beautiful for that special day. Yesterday was a lot of fun! I am updating my portfolio for my hair and make up; and this time I am really focusing around brides for it now too. So yesterday I did my cousins hair and make up and had a photo shoot with her. My aunt has all of her own photography equipment and a real nice camera...it took almost all day. We got some real pretty photos that I will post once we get them all photoshoped and looking good. I am going to have some other people be my models that I will do some more updo's on. I am way excited for this. I think that it is going to look very professional. This is what I want to do is working with brides and photography; it is my true passion and can't wait until my career can really take off. It takes patience though and some real motivation. I will get there someday.

What Matters Most

July is almost gone and I cannot believe how fast it is going by. What an amazing month though, I had my birthday last Sunday, and celerbrated with a family dinner with some delicious food. Then I went and had a party with my friends, which all I got to say is that they are amazing. They all did way to much, but it was the most wonderful birthday ever. I am so happy and grateful for great friends in my life who care about me, and for family who loves me and has always taken care of me. Later that week I went to the Journey concert with my friends Kelsey, Tanner, and Kenny. The concert was awesome and I can't believe that I got to see them in concert; I had so much fun. Then I got back yesterday from camping in Lava with my family. Life is such a journey it has it's downs, but when you get to a peak it can take your breathe away! Life always comes back to what I realize matters most and makes me truly the happiest. God and Jesus Christ are always there for me and I can feel the love they have for me. I came back from camping and started reading my book Defined by Christ; it is teaching me so much. I love this book and I think that everybody should read it! It changes my thinking towards Christ and Heavenly Father on what they are thinking of me and to be more like them. Doing this makes me more humble and grateful for all that they have given me. I know that if you change your way of thinking to this way life will come much easier and all things seem to happen more in your favor.

Waterfall Canyon

Wow what a week so far. It seems like I have been really busy getting stuff done and running different places, but I really kind of like keeping busy! I have been slowing improving on my summer like I wanted to this year. I have been getting out more for sure! Last Saturday I went for a hike up Waterfall Canyon which was so gorgeous! I have never been up there before, it is a really nice hike it is all up hill. When you get toward the top of the hike there's rock climbing more so than a path; which is so beautiful to be up there against the water with the green everywhere. The waterfall was going strong and so amazing! The hike for me was a challenge to make sure I didn't wimp out and to keep my motivation going strong, but the end result was so worth it. Hiking is so amazing! You can go up places that you would never see or even know was there unless you went exploring. Like I said that I had to keep my motivation going is especially when there was so many boulders and rocks to climb, but you want to know really of what I was thinking to keep me going? Is I was thinking of Jesus Christ a lot, like what happens if this hike was me going to see him. If I lived to the second coming and the journey I would take to go and see the Savior; that I would have to push myself like the pioneers! I also thought of Him when I was having a thought that "I NEED TO STOP!" and that I can't go on any further as I was climbing those rocks. But what I pictured at this time was Jesus lending me his hand and helping me up. Just like the picture with Him saying to "Be not afraid". That is what really kept me going strong and thru the whole hike I could feel his presence with me helping me. I went with my Relief Society and those girls are so inspirational! They help you and I could really see Christ thru them especially when we were crossing the river. What an amazing trip and I learn so much! I am so grateful for the great people in my life and the Spirit being with me and teaching me so many lessons in my life.

4th of July Fun!

The Fourth of July weekend is now over, and I had so much fun! Friday night I went and saw some fireworks and then spent the next day with my momma. It was my Mom's birthday; we went to go see Larry Crowne, have pedi's and then Tony's pizzeria so yummy. It was a good day later that night went to the drive in and saw Transformers and Super 8 with my friends. Then Sunday had a birthday dinner with the fam for my Mom's birthday celebration, and later went over to have a sleep over with my friends. Busy weekend for sure and all I can say is man I am tired!! I thought that I caught up on it, but defiantly after work today at Hazens I am not caught up on it. Why can't my body keep up with me... if only, I would get a lot accomplished that's for sure :) My life is so amazing and I am so grateful for the wonderful people who make it that way. I know that this summer is going to continue to be awesome! I am trying to live my life by the quote that Jack from Titanic says to make each day count!!!

Camping

I haven't been on here for a long time! I forgot that I even had a blog. This summer I am determined to get on here and to write about my summer. So far this summer it has started out great and I can't wait to have even more fun! I have gone camping, saw fireworks, movies in the park, swimming, and Lava Hot Springs. I love the summer time, it is so much fun to get outside and to play around. I just came back from camping recently and had a nice relaxing time with my parents. We went four wheeling, played games, and saw some awesome stars with a smore in hand of course! The best smore ever consists of a jumbo marshmallow toasted over the campfire with one Reese's peanut butter cup on a chocolate dipped Toll house cookie... yum! The Reese's peanut butter cup on your smore is truly heaven on earth...haha you need to try it. The four wheeling was a ton of fun. I believe that it is always good to have a little adventure in your life, and I have lately been looking for adventures that I can take. So four wheeling was a sweet way to find that adventure out in the wilderness. I didn't go on a too long of a ride but enough to get sore. I was saddle sore for the rest of the day! I think that I must be a wuss and need to step up my adventurous side. How do I expect to have one if I go a couple of miles and wimp out haha. Life is just wonderful and I am having so much fun! I am so grateful for the amazing people in my life, my family and friends. I also have been blessed with loving parents the most wonderful parents ever. Life still gives me the unexcepted ups and downs that it always does, but I learn something everyday from any trials I might run into. And even if I don't see it then I am able to look back now and see a change in me from that situation for the better. Everything happens for a reason, and if it's not to your liking it's to make you a better person and a stronger one.

Progression the Great Story of Life

These past couple of months have gone by so fast! So much has happened and I have learned so much. I have become a true believer that everything happens for a reason, and that it only makes you stronger and a better person. I can honestly say that I have become a better person and starting to find out who I am. I always thought that I knew who I was, but I look at that person I was and then look at who I am now and it amazes me on how much I have changed! I have learned to just enjoy the journey in front of me and to have fun in life. I have experienced much lately and have set aside my selfish feelings for the feelings on just wanting someone to be the best and the happiest that they can be. It has not been easy at all to have progressed so much but the tuff times had to happen for me to happen. I have been so grateful for the people in my life. My amazing friends have been the best for me and let me have fun in life and make me feel important when the going gets tuff, and they are always there with an listening ear. They have been there for me and have showed me what true friendship is all about. I love each and everyone of them and appreciate everything that they do. Life is so great! All of the experiences the good and the bad. Life is one great journey waiting to happen and one big lesson waiting to be taught. Make each day count and always be grateful for what you got.
