The Fun of Summer

I absolutely love this time of the year! It is gorgeous outside and the fashions are so fun! One fashion trend to do this year is Summer Dresses. They are all so much fun and flirty.

There are all different types of summer dresses to chose from depending on your body type. In Style Magazine is talking about what looks good on whom.

For us tall girls, we are recommended to have a dress that's just above the knee. The neck line for us that looks  the best and is cute is the high neck line.
On a personal note I love wearing Capri leggings with summer dresses or your favorite skinny jeans. That way you can still have fun with all of your summer activities and not have to worry about your dress riding up.

Shorter, petite girls are recommend about the same, but with more of a neck line that's not so high. To high of a neck line for you can make you look short.

If you have curves it's recommended that you show them off. Have your dress more fitting at your waist to help show them off the best.

Have fun this season with going out and getting a new dress to wear. There are so many different styles and cute colors to choose from.

Today's the Day

Change is always a good thing to do once in awhile in your life. It helps you feel renewed and your ready to take on the world. A simple change to do for your hair is adding bangs to your style.

A few years ago I got straight across bangs while I was attending Taylor Andrews. Back then I was way nervous to cut my long hair or change my color. So what I did is I decided to get bangs. I changed my whole look and I felt like a new person. The straight across bangs are very "in" right now and are a fun edgy look to have. They are way easy to style; just comb them down and blow dry them straight down with heat. Depending how your cowlicks are on your front hairline you could also use a round brush to blow dry them.

Some fun things I did while I had bangs, I went to Vegas to the North America Hairstyling Awards, I did my first photo shoot, and I graduated from Taylor Andrews. I also met Phillip Wilson a great hair artist and FHI educator.

Have a new experience with some fun, flirty bangs. Let today be your day of change.

All Tangled Up

It gets so frustrating when you get out of the shower and have to kill your arms by brushing your hair. It's tiring, and gets tangled so easily. If you are having this problem ask yourself "when was the last time I had a haircut?"

When you keep your hair trimmed up every seven weeks you can solve that tangled problem. One of the problems can be that you have split ends. Those split ends get hooked on each other any time they get thrown around each other. Having fresh ends doesn't only make you feel better and make your hair style easier; it also helps you from getting headaches from brushing your hair.

Another thing is do is to make sure your using a leave-in conditioner or a good conditioner when your washing your hair. Pureology's Hydrate Conditioner is great for tangling dried out hair. Leave it on for a few mintues then rinse it out. Apply to your ends and work up with it. You can see it under my posts on March's Products.

Contact me to schedule your haircut to help out those split ends. Contact info is at the bottom of the page.
