Loyal Rewards

     New things are happening all over the place it seems like with my business. I am very excited for all of it and to really treat you guys when it comes to getting your hair done with me. Something new I have been doing for a couple months now is I started taking credit cards with Square card reader. I believe most of you have loved this and the convenience of it. I have been improving it and learning for myself about Square and what it all includes for you as guests.

    One thing that I started doing with Square is loyalty cards for you. How it works is it's an electric loyalty card meaning that every time I check you out through Square, which is how I do everything now, it will keep track of your visits. Your loyalty card will be shown to you at the bottom of your receipt. So, I am strongly encouraging you to always get a receipt with me. If you have been with me you know that your receipts are sent to you via email or text. In order to keep track of your loyalty card I would also recommend a receipt for when you use cash as well.

     How the loyalty cards are going to work is when you spend $15 or more you will get a stamp on your card for that visit. Once you have completed 10 stamps you will receive $10 off your next service. I think that you all will love this. Especially how it is electronic so you don't have to worry about finding it every time you come in. I hope all of you are doing well and staying warm in this cold weather. I have something new that I am starting up. You all probably know about my referral program and if you don't check out my post Refer and Save. I always have my referral program going on for everybody, but for the people who aren't referred by anyone and would like to come into me here's something just for you.

Unite your Hair

I have some news I am very excited to share with you all! Me Salon is getting a new product line in the is going to be taking over all of the products I now use. Me Salon has now become a Unite Salon.

New Year for New Hair

It's a new year! I have a feeling that this year has good things in store. As you look at things to improve on in your life one of them might be your hair. I have some tips for you that can really help you get those beautiful locks you've been dreaming of.

Most all of us always want our hair to be healthy. No one likes to have their hair feeling brittle or have it falling out. One thing I'll ask you is how often do you brush your hair? Brushing your hair is very important and should always be done. Before you get in the shower or getting your hair wet; after getting it wet; before bed; and once you wake up. A simple thing like brushing your hair can actually do wonders. Don't be afraid of brushing it because your nervous of it falling out. When you brush you have to be gentle. If you experience a lot of tangles I suggest using a leave in conditioner that you can spray in after washing your hair. A leave in conditioner will help with the tangles and also help with locking in the moisture in your hair. When brushing always start at the bottom (your ends) and work your way up. This will also help with the tangles as well.

One old wise tale you probably have all heard before is brush your hair 100 stokes a day. Well I can tell you that if you want fuller, healthier, and longer hair to start brushing. This wise tale is true! It does help and you will notice a difference once you start doing it for a week or so. I recommend brushing 100 strokes right before bed. Brush in all directions; at your scalp and ends. Not only does it feel good after a long day, but what it does is stimulates hair growth at the scalp. Once you have brushed your hair before bed if you have long hair that is past your shoulders loosely tie it off to the side or loosely braid it. Doing this and then going to bed will protect your hair from getting yanked and pulled as you sleep. Not doing this can affect hair loss. I hope that these tips of mine help you.
